Welcome to South Canyon Country Estates

History & Mission

South Canyon Country Estates was established in September 1978. For over four decades, SCCE has been among the area’s most desirable residential communities. The spacious lots nestled in the foothills allow our residents to enjoy the quiet beauty of the Black Hills just a few short miles from Rapid City’s westside limits. If you are new to the neighborhood welcome! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.

Surrounded by Forest Service land, our tranquil 138-home development sits atop several rolling plateaus at the foothills of the beautiful Black Hills.

Our residents enjoy the benefit of being close to town while being able to take advantage of modern amenities, easy access to year-round adventures in the Hills, frequent wildlife sightings, and all that Mother Nature has to offer.
