SCCE Board of Directors Meeting - November 22, 2021
The meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm by Treasurer, Howie Aubertin. Board members present are Scott Wagner, Joe Hofmann, John Santana, Kort Herman and LuAnne Johnson
Board Members absent – Dana Coats, Marlowe McDowell
Staff present – Kelsey Wyres
Staff absent – Mike Riker
Approval of agenda and call for changes – Motion to approve the agenda by LuAnne and seconded by John. Motion carried.
Approval of SCCE Board minutes from the October 25, 2021, meeting. Motion was made to approve the minutes by Joe and seconded by John. Motion carried.
Treasurer/Bookkeeper Report and Approval of Financials
Financial Reports - Were emailed to Board Members from Kelsey Wyres on November 19, 2021
A/R Aging Summary was reviewed as of November 19, 2021
Payroll Summary from January through December 2021
Balance Sheet as November 30, 2021
Profit & Loss for November 2021
Profit & Loss Previous Year Comparison July 1, 2020, through November 2021
Transaction List by Vendor for November 2021
Howie reviewed the Casey Peterson & IRS late payments for tax year 2018. A total of $1,148.80 was paid. Casey Peterson was not hired in 2018. SCCE was going to file own taxes, and never did.
Howie will contact Casey Peterson (Samantha) and make sure our taxes comply from 2019 to present.
Also, Kelsey mentioned our agreement with Casey Peterson ended in July 2021. Has a new agreement been reviewed and signed? Will need to get this confirmed.
With no further discussion on financials, a motion by Scott and seconded by John to accept and approve the financials. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
By-Laws and Covenants Committee – Dana - No report
Architect Committee – Dana – No report
Water System Report – Mike R. – No report
Recreation Committee Report – LuAnne Johnson Nothing new to report.
Administrative – Board Members - Website Design – LuAnne Will contact Chit Chat and have them update the website with the new SCCE Board Members. Will check with Holly to see how much Cloud Storage we have for saving minutes, contracts, etc.
- Welcome Packets – Kelsey & LuAnne Will work together to distribute welcome packets to the new residents.
- Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) – Meeting has not been set up. Dana, Marlowe & Howie
- SCCE HOA Documents – LuAnne will get a small file container to Kelsey for the SCCE documents.
- No SCCE Board of Directors meeting in December 2021. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
The next SCCE Board of Directors meeting will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Doty VFD starting at 6:30pm.
With no further business, Joe made motion to adjourn, seconded by Kort. Motion carried.
