Meeting Minutes: May 18
SCCE Board of Directors Meeting – May 18, 2020
The meeting was called to order by President Mike Wheeler. Board members present are Carolyn Ellington, Dana Coats, Marlowe McDowell, Scott Wagner, and Joe Hofmann
Members Absent – Howie Aubertin and LuAnne Johnson
Staff present – Mike Riker
Staff absent – Kody Bybee
Approval of Agenda and call for changes – No changes. Motion to approve agenda by Joe, seconded by Marlowe. Motion carried.
Minutes from the April 20, 2020 meeting were reviewed. Motion to approve minutes by Carolyn, seconded by Dana. Motion carried.
Financial Reports: Were emailed to Board Members from Kody Bybee on 5-17-20
* A/R Aging Summary was reviewed as of May 17, 2020
* Payroll Summary from January through December 2020
* Balance Sheet as of May 17, 2020
* Profit & Loss for May – Not reported
* Profit & Loss Previous Year Comparison – July 1, 2019 through May 17, 2020
* Transaction List by Vendor for May 2020
There were two checks for the Doty rental. We are now two months ahead on that.
- Still waiting on reimbursement to Mike Wheeler’s for purchase of the tennis net.
- Bookkeeper gift card not purchased.
With no further discussion on the Financial Reports, Marlowe made a motion to approve and Scott seconded. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
Swimming Pool Opening Date – With weather permitting, the swimming pool will be opening on Memorial Day, May 25, 2020. Mike Riker will get laminated COVID 19 signage for swimming pool. Mike will also get hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes.
Picnic Shelter Reservations – All shelter reservations are to be cancelled until further notice by the Board. Motion to approve by Scott and seconded by Dana. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
The June 13th Kick-off Summer BBQ is cancelled.
Discussion on changing residents water meters.
MIDCO Matters – looks like possible service in the next two weeks.
Red Deer Road – Dana said Simon will be seeding and will be doing some rock work. Dana also said, Red Deer will need an overlay of an additional 2” and/or chip seal. Dana will get the Board an estimate.
Water System Report – Mike Riker
Everything is working great. No issues.Recreation Committee Report – LuAnne Johnson

The next SCCE Board of Directors meeting will be on June 22, 2020 starting at 6:30pm at Doty VFD.
With no further business, Dana made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Marlowe. Motion passed.
